Being so delicate, sensitive, fragile and frail.
You have been denied your fundamental rights
And liberties even worse than being in jail.
Some among you are kept apart and separate,
And are not allowed to associate and mingle.
You are constantly put in a hopeless tangle.
Consider the matter from a humane angle.
No matter how bravely and hard you struggle,
Regardless of whether you are married or single,
You can do nothing against the law of the jungle.
Whether as a daughter, a sister, a mother or a wife,
You are involved with him in perpetual strife.
However, you give the impression that all is well,
That you are happy, quite satisfied with your life,
And you do just all things on your own accord.
When you really are only acting as if. For to rebel
Is something you simply may not be able to afford.
Whoever does something wrong you’re the one to scold.
He believes you’re the one who never do as you’re told.
All is done to you is in compliance with the will of God
Keep strong and be cautious and careful not to explode.
He attracted you, because you thought he was charming
But he sure was deceitful. “All that glitters is not gold.”
You can’t tell what he is up to. He blows hot and cold.
And he is not as clever as he pretends to be; he is clod.
When you say something to him he answers with a nod.
He abuses you; on your birthday, he buys you a diamond.
You’d better not be around when he is in such a bad mood.
Whatever you do to appease him, it would do you no good.
Be happy and rejoice, for, to your most advantage,
The whole situation will, for certain, radically change.
You finally will be delivered from the male bondage,
Get rid once and for all of the burden of past heritage.
Once you have everything under control,
I assume you will wish to reverse the role.
Who knows? That may or may not be droll.
